Om Namah Shiva Ya

about

I remember being a bit confused by the christian priests at school with their lame attempts to explain the Hindu pantheon, in a comparative religion class. In particular I could not understand the need for a god who destroys. If only someone had described to me the way Shiva destroys, with love, those things which we no longer need, in order to make space for new abundance. Such a simple concept. So beautiful.

Music based on a sketch written during a class I was teaching on songwriting … in which I was demonstrating how to use random processes (in this case dice and a coin) to help free the creative process.
