about

Rejecting as incomplete a paradigm which has dominated our world for too long.

lyrics

Ah, come to me in the forest
Ah, Come to me in the green
Come to me in the desert and the mountains
Let me show you things unseen

When I created this universe
I knew there was a chance that I’d forget
That the beauty and perfection of my handicraft
That the infinite interplay of light and matter
Forming endless images of seeming separation
Would produce a glow of ego leading to the dislocation
Of the part of me residing in this apparently one reality
Would make me start to dream that I myself
Am just a minor insignificant fraction
Of the wonder of eternity
Me existing within it
Instead of it existing within me

Ah, come to me in the forest
Come to me in the green
Come to me in the desert and the mountains
Let me show you things unseen

And sow I sowed my creation with the seeds of memory
Seemingly ordinary entities intertwining with so many
Weaving warp and weft of life
Interminable web of life
The infinite beauty of life
And these seeds grew from thoughts and ideas
Into vines, leaves, flowers,
Fruiting bodies and spikey stalks
Scattered throughout my consciousness
Scattered throughout my illusory world
Like password reset questions on the website of my mind

Ah, come to me in the forest
Come to me in the green
Come to me in the desert and the mountains
Let me show you things unseen

And sure enough, I forgot
And lived in a dream
Where I am I and you are you
And they are them and far away out of reach
Out of control…

But somewhere in the recesses, the core memory
Lingered a vestige of the truth
Lying dormant for a million seeming lifetimes
Lifetimes of separation
But lifetimes of learning
Lifetimes of longing
Lifetimes of yearning
For re-connection

Ah, come to me in the forest
Come to me in the green
Let me show you things you have forgotten
Let me show you things unseen

Until, seemingly by chance, all across my world
Adventurous parts of me felt driven to explore
Felt drawn to taste, to combine, to brew, to consume
Seemingly insignificant, the lowliest of plants
Only to find …

The truth once again at last
And immediately began the long and joyful process
The joining of the dots of reconnection
Fitting the disparate puzzle pieces back together
Forming truth out of chaos
Forming beauty out of pain
Forming love out of fear
Forming unity out of fragmentation
Forming, no re-forming
One.

Ah, come to me in the forest
Come to me in the green
Let me show you things you have forgotten
Let me show you things unseen
